The primary aim of this science-focused event is to inspire and engage rangatahi (youth) in Rāhui Pōkeka with the wonders of health, science and technology. By providing an interactive and educational experience, we hope to:
- Introduce rangatahi to the various fields within science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and demonstrate their relevance and applications in everyday life.
- Encourage confidence and curiosity among Rangatahi, showing them that they can pursue and excel in scientific careers.
- Highlight the contributions of local scientists and innovators, fostering a sense of pride and aspiration within the community.
